The heaviest of heavyweights will collide in the 2026 Final Four when the Midwest #1 Michigan Wolverines (35-3SU, 18-20 ATS) meet the West #1 Arizona Wildcats (36-2 SU, 23-14-1 ATS).

Michigan and Arizona were the top-two favorites in the March Madness championship odds entering the Sweet 16 and they remain 1-2 entering the Final Four. They also sit first and second at KenPom, with the Wildcats rated slightly higher.

Arizona punched its ticket to the Final Four with a 79-64 win over #2 Purdue, overcoming a seven-point halftime deficit in the process. Freshman Koa Peat had a game-high 20 points and Arizona’s defense held the Boilermakers to just 39.0% shooting from inside the arc.

Before the dominant second-half comeback against Purdue, the Wildcats raced past #4 Arkansas (109-88) in the Sweet 16, #9 Utah State (78-66) in the second round, and #16 LIU (92-58) in the first round.

Michigan took down #4 Alabama (90-77) in the Sweet 16, #9 Saint Louis (95-72) in round two, and #16 Howard (101-80) in round one. In Sunday’s Elite Eight, they put the boots to #6 Tennessee (95-62).
