Dybala looking to leave Juve
Inter, Man Utd and Atletico Madrid in the frame
All of Europe’s big clubs are on alert
Paulo Dybala, Juventus’ Argentine international, could well leave the Turin side this summer with rumors circulating of him being unhappy at having to play second fiddle to Cristiano Ronaldo. But if he departs, where will he go? So far, either Inter Milan, Manchester United or Atletico Madrid appear as his most likely destinations.

The fact that Milan, United and Atletico are joint-favorites for his signature at +275 shows how wide-open this market is. But the balance may have been tilted this very morning with news that Atletico have finally agreed to a deal with Barcelona to sell Antoine Griezmann – the fee rumored to be around 120 million euros.
First Domino Has Fallen
This is likely to be the first domino to fall in what could now be a transfer frenzy that will see some of Europe’s big names changing clubs – with potentially Dybala being one of those. Until now the European summer transfer market has been unusually quiet, but with Atletico now having 120m euro to play with, the log jam has been broken.
The big question will be how badly Atleti manager Diego Simeone wants Dybala and how much of the 120m he is willing to spend on the Argentinian.
Swap Deal With Icardi?
The trick Inter have up their sleeve in their pursuit of Dybala is that – as reported in Corriere della Sera – their chief executive Beppe Marotta thinks that by offering Argentinian striker Mauro Icardi as part of a swap deal, he can put them in pole position to make the deal happen.

Icardi has made clear his desire to join Juve but the stumbling block, rather than money, is the Turin side having room on their roster for another striker. This may change if Gonzalo Higuain is persuaded to accept a move to Roma or if either Moise Kean or Mario Mandzukic are sold.
Lukaku May Be the Key
Interestingly, and this ties into United’s desire to land Dybala, Inter are keen to shift Icardi – who is also wanted by Napoli – because in addition to it helping in their pursuit of Dybala, Icardi is also blocking their pursuit for United striker Romelu Lukaku.

The Lukaku deal is one that Marotta is desperate to make happen – a deal that could potentially be worth 70m euro to United – and if it comes off it will add a significant sum to United manager Ole Gunnar Solkjaer’s summer war chest. It looks also likely to be boosted by the sale of Paul Pogba, who also has made clear his intention of leaving Old Trafford.

To date, United’s summer spending has been relatively modest and confined mainly to up-and-coming young British talent – like Swansea winger Dan James – but the United fans are already restless and will be looking for at least one marquee signing to come in before the season begins. Dybala would tick that box.
But, for us that remains a long shot and we feel a move to another Serie A side may suit Dybala at this stage of his career.
Our pick: Inter Milan +275
