Betis comes into this one in third, but they could be out of the top four by the time this match kicks off if other results go against them. Team News
Betis manager Manuel Pellegrini is going to make changes to the side that played on Thursday. His hands are tied to a degree, however, with Sergio Canales suspended, while Victor Camarasa, Juan Miranda and Martin Montoya ruled out through injury.
Cristian Tello seems likely to deputize for Canales. Borja Iglesias will return to the starting lineup after his dramatic added time equalizer a few days ago. Hector Bellerin is expected to regain his place at right-back.
Atletico have their own selection issues with Stefan Savic suspended and several important injuries. Daniel Wass, Geoffrey Kondogbia, Matheus Cunha and Mario Hermoso have been ruled out of this one. The experienced trio of Antoine Griezmann, Luis Suarez and Yannick Carrasco are available for Diego Simeone, giving plenty of options in attack.

Real Betis booked a place in the Copa del Rey final in midweek thanks to a draw with Rayo Vallecano in the second leg. Atletico is coming off a win over Celta Vigo last time out, and has now won three of four in the league.
Atletico have collected 16 points from their last eight league matches, a mark only bettered by Villarreal and Barcelona. Betis have just 13 points across the same span, though they have won four of six in La Liga, and knocked Zenit St Petersburg out of the Europa League in that period.
This is the biggest match of Round 27. It will have a major impact on La Liga futures & outrights. A win for either side will give them a real upper hand in a competitive top four battle, while a defeat would be a setback with just a couple of months left in the season.

Betis vs Atletico Prediction
Both teams must be high on confidence right now. Betis, though, are at a rest disadvantage and have been considerably over performing their expected numbers. They are no better than mid-table defensively, and the absence of Canales is a real blow to their attack (the veteran Spaniard averages 1.8 key passes per game, second-highest on the team).
Atletico’s dismal away record this season is a bit misleading. Jan Oblak hasn’t been at his best, but conceding 22 from 12.7 expected goals against is unusual. Results haven’t been Simeone-style, yet the underlying numbers show the matches are still limited on chances at both ends.
