With the draw for Qatar 2022 being held on Friday, CONCACAF World Cup Qualifying officially wraps up on Wednesday. Canada, who have already secured their spot on the grand stage later this year, will visit Panama on the final matchday. The kick-off is scheduled for 9:05 PM EST in Panama City.
Canadians can look forward to betting on Team Canada at this year’s World Cup, now that legal Canada sports betting is set to launch next week on April 4.
The Canucks celebrated on Sunday after a huge 4-0 victory over Jamaica in Toronto, soaking it all in as they head to their first World Cup since 1986. A draw here will be enough to finish in top spot. Panama meanwhile, is coming off a 5-1 defeat at the hands of the United States and will be simply looking to finish the qualifying campaign with a respectable result.
The reverse fixture between the two sides in October saw Canada run out as 4-1 winners, with Alphonso Davies scoring a world-class solo goal that made headlines worldwide.
