Currently sitting in 10th spot in the table, it’s safe to say this has not been a great start to the campaign for Chelsea. While Graham Potter enjoyed some success after taking over for Thomas Tuchel, the Blues are looking distraught as of late, dating back to before the World Cup.
Potter’s men suffered three consecutive defeats in November. While they returned with a swift 2-0 win over Bournemouth on December 27th, Chelsea was very disappointing against Forest, a side in the relegation zone. Raheem Sterling scored an early opener but that was about the only bright spot in the final third. Serge Aurier ultimately equalized in the second half for the hosts.
