Valencia have announced an agreement to sign Celta Vigo goalkeeper Yoel Rodriguez on loan, while Vicente Guaita is set to join Getafe.

In a statement on their official website, Valencia said that -- pending a medical -- they would sign Yoel, 25, on a season-long loan, with an agreement in place to take him on a permanent basis next summer on a three-year contract.

Celta academy product Yoel became the Galician club's undisputed No. 1 goalkeeper last term following spells in the B team and Segunda Division outfit Lugo.

He will now compete with Brazilian shot-stopper Diego Alves for the number one spot at Valencia, with Guaita set to leave and join Getafe.

Valencia confirmed on Thursday evening that the 27-year-old was on his way to Primera Division rivals Getafe.

A club statement read: "Valencia have reached an agreement with Getafe for the transfer of the goalkeeper Vicente Guaita, with the club maintaining a percentage of economic rights and first refusal ahead of any subsequent sale of the player by his new club."
