United States youth international Indiana Vassilev has signed a new two-year contract with Aston Villa, the Premier League club announced on Monday.

The 19-year-old forward will be under contract with the club until June 2022.

A native of Georgia, the former IMG Academy product joined Villa's under-18 squad in October of 2017. He has made five appearances in all competitions for the senior side this season and another 14 with the under-23 team.

Vassilev made his senior debut against Fulham in the FA Cup in January.
